auditions

Auditions are open to all students of The Ohio State University in every field of study.

They are held early every fall and spring quarters (check back for specific dates). No prior improv or theatre experience is necessary. Auditionees are accepted based on talent and potential. There is no set quota for number of accepted performers.

Auditions are a two-step process: Open audition and callback. Auditionees are not expected to prepare anything. Open auditions will consist of auditionees performing with each other. Callbacks will consist of auditionees performing with current 8th Floor members. The best way to succeed here is to enter with an open mind and a playful spirit. We try to keep a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This description is as serious as the audition process will get. If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

Fall Quarter Auditions 2011

Fall Quarter 2011 auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 27th and Thursday, September 29th at 7pm in Central Classrooms Building, Room 226 with callbacks being on Monday, October 3rd same place same time! Please come to either Tuesday's OR Thursday's audition, not both. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact us at 8thfloorimprov@gmail.com.
