The Whethermen was founded in 1997 at the University of Virginia, and has been bringing both short-form and long-form improv comedy shenanigans to the UVA Grounds ever since. Whethermen shows are known for having super high energy, a strong frat bro audience contingent, and the team's infamous sponge-painted "Brand Name" shirts.
Founded in 2009, Fishbowl Improv's sole purpose has been to bring free comedy to the Ohio State community. Currently composed of 15 mighty members, Fishbowl is ready to demolish the monotony of daily life at Bellwether!
Awkward Silence is a long-form improv group from cornfed and wholesome Indiana. We were founded at Indiana University in 2004 after a flustered Brian Frange, freshly rejected from a collegiate improv group, started his own troupe with a name inspired by a common element in all of his social interactions. Now, Brian is a successful adult man writing in LA who buys us pizza when he comes to visit. We do our best to repay him by continuing the ASC legacy through performing weird, energetic improv every Thursday in the Indiana Memorial Union. Awkward Silence has performed at The Del Close Marathon in New York City, The Chicago College Improv Tournament, The Malignant Humor Comedy Festival at University of Illinois, and, of course, we hold a special place in our hearts for OSU's Bellwether.
That's right! It's that time of year again. Bellwether 9 is set to occur on October 20th and 21st, 2017. As we head toward that fateful weekend, we will be highlighting all of our performers in the annual Bell Blog! The full schedule for #bell9 can be found below the poster!

Based out of New York City, Glory Days is a comedy team comprised of four boys having the time of their lives. Their shows burn fast and furious, with their playful nature propelling them through scenes at a breakneck pace.
Individually, the boys have performed at dozens of festivals, including SF Sketchfest, The Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, Fracas! Improv festival in LA, Harvard's Laugh Riot, and the Upright Citizens Brigade's Del Close Marathon. Together, they regularly perform sketch and improv all over New York City.
You'll never find a team that has as much fun as Glory Days.

Found in the forest and raised by a pack of she-wolves, Nature Girls will guide you down long-forgotten paths into the wild. We love nature and are very excited that it is Fall.
From 8th Floor Improv.
Rickey and the Night Shits is comprised of the dumbest mother fuckers ever to walk this rock. We were born because our Dads banged our Moms. Go Bucks.
Boxing Day is recognized in the United States on the fourth Saturday of September. The first Boxing Day was celebrated in 1829 and was officially sanctioned by John Quincy Adams. It was his last act as commander and chief. The name comes from his pet cat, Boxer, whom he loved dearly.
As one of the humble teams from 8th Floor Improv, Weasel Teaser is very excited to perform at Bellwether 8! For more information on the team and their members, please view the link below:
Hi there, we're IGP! We do long form improv at Harvard, in the Boston area, and in cool cities like NYC and LA. We also have a huge crush on everyone in 8th Floor and are so stoked for Bellwether!!

Fishbowl Improv has been performing improv comedy at Buckeye City free of charge since 2009 A.D. Utilizing short-form and long-form Fishbowl holds weekly shows in the Ohio Union just about every Sunday of the semester. A fun fact about Fishbowl is that because we are all part of a collective consciousness, we feel the combined sensations of all other members. It's mostly great but sometimes upsetting.
Founded in 2004 by Brian Frange, Awkward Silence retains its title as Indiana University's most lovable and squeezable improv group. Focusing on long-form improv, the group has performed in a variety of festivals - from Del Close Marathon in NYC to FRACAS Improv Festival in LA. Awkward Silence Comedy has performed in every Bellwether - the only thing it loves more than improv is 8th Floor. The group is happy (and grateful) to be back again!
Performing at 6:50 on Saturday.
Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected comedians in the country. And the only thing he loves more than making people laugh is his family and the outdoors.
Performing at 7:10 on Saturday.
Full Ammo Improv is Penn State's premiere improv comedy troupe. They perform shows in the basement of one of Penn State's most northern buildings, so they have a very dedicated audience. In fact, this year they are celebrating our 12th anniversary. Full Ammo Improv currently has twelve members, with some very funny newbies who have helped balance their otherwise aging population. Sadly, they will also be losing some very funny seniors at the end of the spring semester, including Alex Conti, Chris Collier, Nicholas Strauss, and Lauren Barron. Rest in peace. If there is one idea that sums up the troupe, its, "Hey, when are we getting shirts?" But more than that, they just like to have fun.
Performing at 6:10 on Saturday.
