Who We Are

8th Floor Improv Comedy Group is the premier comedy group of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. We perform comedy of all types from sketch to stand-up, but our primary focus is long-form improvisation.

Our cast is made up of Ohio State students from a variety of majors. We perform regularly at the US Bank Conference Theatre in the Ohio Union and at various locations on and off campus.

8th Floor has done shows at corporate events and special charity functions and our members perform at locations across the country (including the Fracas! Improv Festival in LA, Improvfest in Washington DC, and the Del Close Marathon in NYC). Cast members have had the opportunity to study with the Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, Annoyance, and iO.

Ultimately, we strive to provide Ohio State - and all of Columbus, Ohio - with a unique brand of comedic entertainment.
